Hey Caregivers! Here’s what’s happening this week

This is your permission to hit pause, exhale, and remember you matter too.

Each week, you’ll get stories, tools, and tiny resets that help you care without losing yourself in the process.

But most importantly, I want this to be a newsletter and a resource for YOU! So please reply and let me know what you thought of this newsletter! Is there anything you want to see more of?

Let’s Start with Today’s Reset.

The Caregiver Reset

Mindful Minute- the 60 second Scalp Treatment

This week’s reset is about physical decompression. If you have 60 seconds, then you have the time for this exercise.

Whether you’re sitting on the couch or washing off in the shower, use a scalp massager in slow and circular motions.

To receive the best effect, start at your temples (where tension from clenching your jaw is tight), and then move slowly to the nape of your neck.

If you suffer from tension headaches, stressful days, or just are finding it hard to relax- this is our go-to.

Don’t have a scalp massager? Don’t worry! Use the “froggy finger” method instead! Place your fingertips-not nails- firmly against your scalp. The goal should be to move your scalp and feel your skin move under your fingers. This will produce the same effect and destress you!

Whether it’s using our scalp treatment, having a spa day, or just taking 60 seconds of YOU time- this is your permission slip.

Remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Taking care of you IS taking care of them. We got this.

Now, let’s catch up

Your Daily Mirror Mantra

Let’s do some affirmations

Repeat after me:

My rest is not a reward, it is a requirement.

I am allowed to have needs today.

Today I’m choosing peace over pressure, presence over perfection, and progress over comparison.

I am confident in my doings.

I will be kind to myself today.
